Apple Today - 10/07/2015 (AAPL)

Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are up 35 with +30 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 96, a great improvement over red Futures last night. Hong Kong rallied over 3% while the rest of China markets are still on holiday. Europe is currently in solid green territory. Oil jumped 5% yesterday on American Petroleum Institute showing a 1.2M barrel decrease in crude stocks last week and looks to open nearly 2% higher again today. Gold is looking to open green this morning, by about 0.5%. Yum! Brands (YUM) of KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, plumetted yesterday after earnings and is currently down 16%. Monsanto reported results this morning and is down 3.5%. Volkswagen (VLKAY) is bouncing this morning, up 6% after details of the recall plan emerged.

AAPL opened strong yesterday morning after a cheerful Monday and hit 111.24 within minutes of the open on relatively high volume before sinking to 109.80 at 10:08am on moderate volume. After that breach of 110, AAPL recovered pretty strong and regained green by noontime. The afternoon brought a continued rise and by 2:32pm AAPL peaked at 111.74 on relatively moderate volume. Towards the close AAPL settled back down towards mid-111 and ended the intra-day session at 111.31. After-hours was rough on AAPL, dropping a staggering 1.19 to 110.12 at 5:10pm on relatively high volume before bouncing slightly and ending the session at 110.55.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened a penny higher, 111.32, at 4:02am on light volume. By 5:43am AAPL hit 111.93 on light volume and began a wobble down hitting 111.06 at 7am on moderate volume before bouncing back strong. By 8:30 AAPL broke 112 and at 8:34am AAPL peaked at 112.12 on relatively high volume and has remained in the 112-area. AAPL is currently up 69 cents at 112.
