Apple Today - 11/19/2015 (AAPL)

NASDAQ Futures are up 12 with +13 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 17 on another busy day of economic data.
Asian markets were sharply higher today. China closed up 1.36%, Hong Kong was up 1.41% and Japan gained 1.07%. European markets are currently higher as well, with the UK up nearly 1%, Germany nearly 1.3% and France up nearly 0.5%. Commodities are currently mostly down in pre-market. Oil is down over 1.5%, natural gas is down nearly 0.75% and gold is up about 0.2%. US jobless claims fell. Earnings from salesforce.com showed an increase in revenue and the stock is up 5% in pre-market. Keurig Green Mountain (GMCR) also reported earnings yesterday and is currently up over 19% in pre-market. Earnings for Weibo Corporation (WB) boosted the stock up 6%. On the other hand, this morning's earnings reporters did not fare nearly as well, Best Buy (BBY) is down over 5% and JinkoSolar Holding (JKS) dropped over 8%. Today after the bell, earnings reports are expected from a bunch of late-bloomers, including software giant Autodesk (ADSK), retailer The Gap (GPS), Intuit (INTU), grocery chain The Fresh Market (TFM), cloud enterprise Workday (WDAY) and Williams-Sonoma (WSM). Tomorrow, keep an eye out for retailers Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) and Foot Locker (FL).
AAPL gapped up higher yesterday on Goldman Sachs adding Apple as a "conviction buy". AAPL opened at 115.75 and motored up to mid-117 within 30 minutes of the open on huge volume. AAPL spent the rest of the day in the 117-range with a mid-afternoon dip to 116.27 on moderately high volume at 2:04pm before recovering back towards the high of the day in late afternoon trading and closing the intra-day session strong at 117.29. AAPL gained an additional 21 cents in after-hours to 117.5.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher at 117.67 on low volume and gravitated towards 118. By 6:42am, AAPL peaked at 118.14 on low volume, then began selling off on higher volume. By 8:24am AAPL dipped as low as 117.06 on high volume. AAPL is currently down 4 cents to 117.25.
