Apple Today - 11/24/2015 (AAPL)

Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are down 39 with -36 Fair Value, Dow Futures are down 134 after Turkey shot down a Russian warplane near the Turkish-Syria border.

Asian markets ended mixed. China closed up 0.16%, Hong Kong ended down 0.35% and Japan closed up 0.23%. European markets are all currently lower after the warplane event with the UK down 1.31%, Germany down 1.97% and France down 1.95%. Commodities are currently mixed in pre-market. Oil is up almost 2%, natural gas is down nearly 3% and gold is up nearly 1.25%.

There's a number of economic data points arriving on the calendar today, including GDP for Q3 which has been revised upward to 2.1%.

Palo Alto Networks (PANW) is set to open over 2.5% higher after reporting earnings yesterday. Analog Devices (ADI) is up 3.5% after reporting an earnings beat and Campbell Soup Company (CPB) is up over 1.5%. On the other hand, Dollar Tree (DLTR) and Tiffany & Co (TIF) are down 2- 3% after announcing earnings this morning.

AAPL had a down-beaten Monday, dropping from a high of 119.73 to 117.34 and ultimately losing 1.3% for the day. AAPL sold off consistently through the day on low volume and by early lunchtime AAPL had already dropped over 1.5 points. There was some "struggling" at 118, but by mid-afternoon 2:40pm, AAPL hit a low of 117.34 on low volume before bouncing back to 118 and closing the intra-day session at 117.75, down 1.55 points. Not a lot of activity in after-hours, however AAPL lost an additional 8 cents to close the day at 117.67.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up lower in conjunction with Futures and remained in a narrow range in the 117-area with periodic, fleeting leaps into the mid-117 area. AAPL is currently down 60 cents to 117.15.
