Good Morning,

That's better. NASDAQ Futures are up 65 with +67 Fair Value (rare difference), S&P Futures are up 21 with +21 Fair Value (rare difference) and Dow Futures are up 138 as we await Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen's first day of testimony and clues on the future of interest rates. Futures were considerably red last night and began a strong rally at 2am that continued throughout the morning.

China and Hong Kong are still closed for the Chinese New Year, Japan is down again by 2.31%. European markets are up strong today. The UK is currently up 1.04%, Germany is up 2.39% and France is leading the rally, up 2.54%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 1.57%, natural gas is down 1.91% and gold is down 1.15%. Unleaded gas is up 3.54% and heating oil is up 1.38%. Metals are down. Meat is down. Soybeans and coffee are up while corn, wheat, cocoa and cotton are down.

Janet Yellen signals Fed rate path hinges on whether turmoil persists. Yellen starts the full 2-day testimony on Capitol Hill this morning.

The Walt Disney Company (DIS) reported record quarterly earnings yesterday afternoon and is "curiously" down over 5% this morning. On the other hand, Panera Bread Company (PNRA) also reported earnings yesterday and is currently up nearly 3%. It doesn't compare to SolarCity Corp. (SCTY), though, which is down over a stunning 31% this morning after reporting a larger than expected loss yesterday. On a better note, Akamai Technologies, Inc. (AKAM) reported good earnings and better than expected guidance yesterday and is up over 16%.

ARM Holdings, plc (ARMH) reported earnings this morning and is down nearly 5%. Time Warner Inc. (TWX) also announced earnings this morning and is down nearly 8%. On the other hand, Owens Corning (OC) announced Q4 EPS this morning topping by 21 cents and is up over 5%.

AAPL "churned about" the 94 to 95 area most of the day before pressing upward in late afternoon trading and ending the day basically flat, down just 0.02%. AAPL opened down at 94.29 to relatively moderate volume, then began a 2-hour struggle in the mid-94 area, peaking early on in mid-95 area on high volume at 9:50am and hitting a low of 93.93 shortly after at 10:34am on moderately high volume. After 2pm AAPL regained green and made a dash at 96, peaking at 95.94 at 3:08pm on moderately high volume before settling back down to 95 into the close in the last hour. AAPL ended intra-day trading down 2 cents at 94.99. AAPL gained 11 cents in after-hours trading to end at 95.1.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher in conjunction with Futures, gravitated towards 96 and continued to rise through the morning along with improving Futures, hitting a peak of 96.67at 8:25am on high volume before settling back to 96. AAPL is currently up 95 cents at 94.94 as we approach the open.
