Good Morning,

Welcome to March! NASDAQ Futures are up 27 with +28 Fair Value, S&P Futures are up 13 with +13 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 103 on this first day of March and Super Tuesday. Futures started out in the red but turned positive after 1am and really began rolling at 3am in preparation for a nice open.

Asian markets gained today. China led the advance, up 1.68%, Hong Kong went up 1.58% and Japan closed up 0.37%. European markets are also up today. The UK is currently up 0.58%, Germany is up 1.32% and France is up 0.77%.

Commodities are mostly up this morning. Oil is up 1.75%, natural gas is up 0.47% and gold is up 1.04%. Unleaded gas is up 0.19% and heating oil is up 1.66%. Metals are up. Meat is mixed. Coffee and wheat are up while cocoa, cotton, corn and soybeans are down.

US construction spending jumps to an 8 year high. Today is Super Tuesday.

Workday (WDAY) reported earnings yesterday and is up over 3% after beating estimates and issuing a light outlook.

AutoZone, Inc (AZO) is up nearly 2% this morning on a Q2 earnings beat. JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (JKS) announced an earnings beat by $1.08 and guides higher this morning and is up over 3%. On the other hand, Dollar Tree, Inc. (DLTR) is down nearly 3% after reporting an earnings miss this morning and Medtronic plc (MDT) is down over 4% in pre-market on a revenue miss.

This afternoon after the bell, look for earnings from Progressive Corporation (PGR), Ross Stores, Inc. (ROST) and TiVo Inc. (TIVO).

Tomorrow before the bell, are expected to report Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF), Luxottica Group S.p.A. (LUX), Materialise NV (MTLS) and Tribune Publishing Company (TPUB) are expected to report.

AAPL touched 98 yesterday as the buzz of new products revved, but eventually dropped 0.23% on light volume. AAPL opened up at 96.85 to moderate volume and briefly dipped into the red before a 2-hour long recovery rally peaking at 98.23 at 11:22am on relatively low volume. Throughout the afternoon, AAPL gave back the day's gains on low volume and ultimately turned red within minutes of the close, ending the day down 22 cents at 96.69. AAPL did gain 10 cents in after-hours to end at 96.70, though.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher in conjunction with Futures and clawed back to 97.5 where it has been hovering around for most of the morning. AAPL is currently up 96 cents at 97.65 as we approach the open.
