Despite the event and excitement AAPL had a flat week with very low volume, dropping just 0.24% for the week. On Monday, AAPL spent the better part of the day above 106 but dipped below in the afternoon after the event in a highly muted "sell the news" reaction. AAPL quickly recovered above 107 on Tuesday, hanging on to the upper-106 area into the close. On Wednesday, AAPL struggled to hold 107 and eventually declined towards 106 into the close. On Friday, the "presses" ran on and AAPL opened at down at 105.59 on moderate volume and made a quick early pop within minutes to 106.25 by 9:38am followed by a selloff to below 105 on relatively low volume, hitting a low of 104.89 exactly an hour after the morning high. AAPL then fairly quickly recovered the mid-105 area and remained most of the afternoon until after 2pm when AAPL pressed on to the upper-105 area. AAPL closed the day down 46 cents at 105.67. AAPL traded in a narrow range in after-hours and gained an additional 2 cents to 105.69.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL picked up with Thursday's close and gravitated towards 106, peaking at 106.28 later in the morning. AAPL is currently up 31 cents at 105.98 as we approach the open.
