Apple Today - 3/30/2016 (AAPL)

Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are up 31 with +32 Fair Value, S&P Futures are up 11 with +12 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 96. Futures took off early this morning and reached a peak near 6:30am but are not far off the highs as we await the open.

Asian markets closed mixed today. China gained 2.77%, Hong Kong ended up 2.15% and Japan dropped 1.31%. European markets are rallying today. The UK is currently up 1.69%, Germany is up 1.72% and France is leading the advance, up 1.88%.

Commodities are mostly up this morning. Oil is up 1.54%, natural gas is up 1.41% and gold is up 0.07%. Unleaded gas is down 0.05% and heating oil is up 1.69%. Metals are mostly up except copper. Meat is mixed. Cocoa, coffee and cotton are up while corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

Yellen spurs global market rally as oil rebounds and dollar tumbles. US private sector adds 200,000 jobs in March.

Sonic Corp (SONC) announced a Q2 earnings beat yesterday afternoon along with a raise in outlook and is currently up over 5%. On the other hand, Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc (RH) announced Q4 earnings in line and guides lower and is down over 2%. Dave & Buster's Entertainment Inc (PLAY) also reported Q4 earnings yesterday afternoon, topping expectations and is currently flat in pre-market.

Lululemon Athletica Inc (LULU) reported Q4 earnings this morning beating expectations on strong holiday sales and is up nearly 6%. Carnival Corp (CCL) also announced Q1 earnings this morning and is up over 1%.

This afternoon after the bell, look for earnings from Micron Technology Inc. (MU).

Tomorrow morning, Movado Group, Inc. (MOV) is expected to report.

It was big green AAPL yesterday up 2.37% on mild volume after the Fed apparently tipped the market scales in favor of in the bulls yesterday. AAPL opened at 105 to moderate volume, quickly put in the day's low of 104.88 and began an epic big green apple that lasted all day. AAPL peaked at 107.79 in late afternoon and closed the day up 1.17 at 107.68, right near the high of the day. AAPL gained an additional 7 cents in after-hours to 107.75.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher above 108 in conjunction with cheerful Futures and later headed to 109 as Futures improved and with "upgrades" from Cowen and Longbow, setting a pre-market peak of 109.43. AAPL is currently up 1.31 at 108.99 as we approach the open.
