Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are down 30 with -29 Fair Value, S&P Futures are down 13 with -13 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 95 as the earnings season erupts with so many earnings and the economic data tap flows. Futures were green in early morning but took a turn at 4am, tumbled and hit a bottom at 6am, bouncing slightly and are slightly up from the lows as we await the open.

Asian markets ended down today. China dropped 0.05%, Hong Kong dropped 0.73% and Japan was closed. European markets are down today. The UK is currently down 1.16%, Germany is down 0.64% and France is down 0.78%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.85%, natural gas is up 1.82% and gold is down 0.12%. Unleaded gas is up 1.32% and heating oil is up 1.09%. Metals are down. Meat is up. Wheat is up while cocoa, coffee, cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

ADP reports that US companies added 156,000 workers in April. US trade deficit shrinks as goods imports hit 5-year low. US productivity decreases for 2nd straight quarter. Gold slips from 15-month peak as dollar steadies.

Etsy, Inc. (ETSY) announced a surprise Q1 earnings beat yeatrday afternoon with profit and growth and is up nearly 19% in pre-market. Nutrisystem Inc (NTRI) reported Q1 earnings beating expectations, raises guidance, adds buyback and is up over 16%. On the other hand, Glu Mobile Inc. (GLUU) reported a Q1 earnings beat but lowered guidance and is down nearly 16% in pre-market. Cray Inc (CRAY) announced a Q1 loss with lowered guidance and is down nearly 22%. Overstock.com, Inc. (OSTK) also reported Q1 earnings and jumped up 2%. Devon Energy Corporation (DVN) announced Q1 results with a narrower than expected loss and is up nearly 2.5% in pre-market.

Priceline Group Inc. (PCLN) announced Q1 earnings with projections for slower growth and is down over 8%. Time Warner Inc. (TWX) reported Q1 earnings that beat expectations and is up nearly 2% in pre-market. LendingTree, Inc. (TREE) announced Q1 earnings that beat expectations, raised guidance and is up nearly 3%. Kate Spade & Company (KATE) is flat after posting a Q1 profit and strong online sales.

This afternoon after the bell, look for earnings from Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc. (FOXA), HubSpot, Inc. (HUBS), Prudential Financial, Inc. (PRU), Tesla Motors (TSLA), Whole Foods Market, Inc. (WFM), Arris Group Inc (ARRS), WebMD Health Corp (WBMD), Gildan Activewear Inc. (GIL), Green Dot Corporation (GDOT), Transocean Ltd. (RIG), Sunoco LP (SUN), The Kraft Heinz Company (KHC), Kindred Healthcare, Inc. (KND), Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW), Tribune Publishing Company (TPUB), Skullcandy (SKUL), XO Group Inc. (XOXO), Rosetta Stone Inc. (RST), Avid Technology, Inc. (AVID), Fitbit, Inc. (FIT), GoDaddy Inc. (GDDY), MetLife, Inc. (MET) and Tesoro Corporation (TSO).

(AMCX), ReWalk Robotics (RWLK), NRG Energy, Inc. (NRG), 3D Systems Corp. (DDD), Alibaba Group Holding Limited (BABA), Merck & Co Inc. (MRK) are expected to report.

AAPL had a good day yesterday, showing strength in temporarily holding back floodwaters and gaining 1.64% on heavy volume. Despite a rocky pre-market, AAPL opened up at 94.23 and later set an intra-day low 93.68 at 10:16am on high volume before turning up and rising all afternoon, peaking at 95.74 at 1:52pm. AAPL then settled to the lower-95 area and closed up 1.54 at 95.18. AAPL dropped 2 cents in after-hours trading.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher near mid-95 and subsequently slipped in conjunction with Futures toward the mid-95 area before rebounding back towards 95. AAPL is currently down 36 cents at 94.82 as we approach the open.
