AAPL was on a roller coaster ride yesterday, starting up high but ending down 1.04% on heavy volume. AAPL opened at 95.2 to high volume and immediately put in a high of 95.9 at 9:34am on very high volume before sliding back down the coaster to the low-94 area for the rest of the morning. AAPL dipped further in early afternoon to a low of 93.82 at 1:10pm before recovering back to the low-94 area again. AAPL closed the intra-day session down 99 cents at 94.19 and gained 18 cents in after-hours to end at 94.37.

This morning in pre-market, despite being ex-dividend day AAPL curiously opened exactly where it left off in after-hours, perhaps a coincidental rise in sympathy with Futures. Through the morning AAPL dragged down towards 94 and is currently down 7 cents at 94.12 as we approach the open, though AAPL is still up accounting for the dividend.

Classic max-pain is 95. Today is ex-div.
