AAPL had roller-coaster of a week, distributed another $3 billion and dropped 1.09% on heavy volume, which is not too bad considering the dividend makes up for more than half of the drop. On Monday, AAPL dipped from 94 to 93 and back again looking ahead on the tracks yet 112 seemed a distant memory. On Tuesday, AAPL surged into the upper-95 area as the dam showed strength holding for the time being. On Wednesday, the day before ex-div, the AAPL roller-coaster opened high with an eye on 96 but gravity pulled the coaster down to 94, ending the party. On Thursday, ex-div day, AAPL opened relatively high near 94 after distributing $3 billion to patient shareholders then quickly sunk down to 93 by the end of the day. On Friday, AAPL dropped 0.56% on heavy volume. AAPL opened at 93.37 to moderate volume and struggled to hold 93, setting an intra-day high of 93.45 before sliding down all morning and early afternoon on moderate volume to a low of 91.85 at 1:46pm before bouncing to head towards the mid-92 area after 2pm. Late afternoon brought improvement and AAPL reached the upper-92 area, briefly dipping back to mid-92 before jumping again towards the close to end down 52 cents at 92.72. AAPL gained 2 cents in after-hours to 92.74.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up at 93 in conjunction with cheerful Futures and remained in a narrow range around 93 for the rest of the morning with minor periodic spikes and dips. AAPL is currently up 27 cents at 92.99 as we approach the open.

Classic max-pain is 94.
