Apple Today - 6/10/2016 OPEX (AAPL)

Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are down 31 with -30 Fair Value, S&P Futures are down 13 with -13 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 99 on this OPEX Friday. Futures were down slightly early this morning and took a significant tumble after 2:30am until bottoming after 5am and are now near the lows as we await the open.

Asian markets ended down. China was closed, Hong Kong dropped 1.2% were closed and Japan declined 0.40%. European markets are down sharply today. The UK is down 1.92%, Germany is down 2.28% and France is down 2.02%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 1.29%, natural gas is down 1.49% and gold is down 0.04%. Unleaded gas is down 0.85% and heating oil is down 0.82%. Metals are mixed. Meat is up. Coffee, corn and soybeans are up while cocoa, cotton and wheat are down.

H&R Block Inc. (HRB) reported Q4 earnings yesterday afternoon that topped expectations and is up nearly 4.5% in pre-market.

AAPL "bobbed" up from the 99 water-line yesterday, ending the day with a gain of 0.72% on low volume. AAPL opened down at 98.5 to moderate volume and immediately set an intra-day low of 98.46 on moderately high volume before bobbing up to the upper-99 area and peaking at 99.99 in early afternoon trading at 1:20pm on light volume. Although 100 appeared very "alluring" more than once, AAPL never made it and foundered around the upper-99 area for the rest of the day. AAPL ended the day up 71 cents at 99.65 and then gained 3 cents in after-hours to end at 99.68.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower in conjunction with Futures, dipped to the upper-98 area and then gravitated back to the 99 line with surge above and then below 99. AAPL is currently down 71 cents at 98.94 as we approach the open.
