NASDAQ Futures are up 1 with -5 Fair Value, S&P Futures are up 4 with +4 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 37 after Facebook (FB) took a hit yesterday afternoon, dropping as low as 116 after reporting record earnings yet facing a sales growth slowdown in 2017. Today's economic calendar is packed with data, including Initial Jobless Claims, Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index and Factory Orders later this morning. Earnings have reached a peak with a massive number of companies reporting, including Fitbit, Inc. (FIT) which is down over 30%, First Solar, Inc. (FSLR), down over 5.5% and Whole Foods Market, Inc. (WFM) which is up nearly 3.5%. Forthcoming earnings reports include Activision Blizzard, Inc (ATVI), FireEye, Inc. (FEYE) and Starbucks Corporation (SBUX). Futures were down in early morning and turned green slightly ahead of 5:30am and ran up to a peak just before 7:30am before settling slightly and are near the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mostly down. China gained 0.84%, Hong Kong went down 0.56% and Japan dropped 1.76%. European markets are mixed. The UK is down 0.62%, Germany is down 0.03% and France is up 0.74%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.88%, natural gas is down 1.65% and gold is down 1.68%. Unleaded gas is up 0.89% and heating oil is up 0.49%. Metals are down except copper. Meats are mostly up. Cocoa, coffee, cotton, corn and soybeans are up while wheat is down.

Facebook (FB) reported record Q3 earnings yesterday afternoon that beat expectations but warned of a sales growth slowdown and is down over 4.5% in pre-market. Whole Foods Market, Inc. (WFM) is up nearly 3.5% after beating Q4 profit forecasts. Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) announced Q3 results that topped expectations and is down slightly. Fitbit, Inc. (FIT) reported Q3 results with adjusted earnings of 19 cents per share that met expectations but offered a downbeat outlook and is down nearly 30%. Zynga (ZNGA) announced a Q3 earnings miss with a 5.2% drop in MAU and is down over 1%. First Solar, Inc. (FSLR) is down over 5.5% after beating Q3 profit forecasts with adjusted earnings of $1.22 per share but lowering outlook. American International Group Inc (AIG) is down nearly 3.5% after posting a profitable Q3 but with lower than expected earnings.

CyberArk Software Ltd. (CYBR) reported Q3 results this morning that beat expectations and is up over 5% in pre-market. 3D Systems Corp. (DDD) is up nearly 2% after announcing positive Q3 results. Credit Suisse Group AG (CS) announced a profitable Q3 but is down nearly 5.5%. Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) is up over 7.5% on better than expected Q3 results. Intercept Pharmaceuticals (ICPT) reported Q3 earnings and is up over 2%.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Callaway Golf Company (ELY), Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (LGF), Mettler Toledo International Inc. (MTD), Sierra Wireless, Inc. (SWIR), Symantec Corporation (SYMC), Organovo Holdings, Inc. (ONVO), Mad Catz Interactive, Inc (MCZ), Activision Blizzard, Inc (ATVI), CBS Corporation (CBS), FireEye, Inc. (FEYE), Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NUS), Web.com Group, Inc (WEB), Fossil, Inc. (FOSL), Novatel Wireless Inc. (MIFI), Motorola Solutions, Inc. (MSI), Invesco Mortgage Capital Inc. (IVR), Bankrate Inc. AAPL boomeranged back up to 112 before slipping, ending up just 0.09% on very low volume. AAPL opened up at 111.23 to high volume immediately putting in an intra-day low of 111.23 and swung up to 112 within minutes. AAPL skipped around the 112 line for the rest of the day on low volume, setting an intra-day high of 112.35 at 11:30am with dips into the upper-111 area and ended down up 10 cents at 111.59 and lost 68 cents in after-hours to 110.91 on news of iPhone losing mobile market share to Android.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower in sympathy with Futures and Facebook turmoil and wallowed around 111 alongside the continued buzz of iPhone losing mobile market share to Android, even among vastly improving Futures. AAPL is currently down 59 cents at 111 as we approach the open.
