Happy Veterans Day! NASDAQ Futures are down 31 with -30 Fair Value, S&P Futures are down 6 with -3 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 22 on this OPEX Friday culmination of a highly unusual week as Alibaba breaks record sales total on Singles Day. The economic calendar brings us a dash of pivotal key metrics in the form of Consumer Sentiment at 10am and the Baker-Hughes Rig Count at 1pm. NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) crushed Q3 earnings and is up nearly 18% in pre-market, while The Walt Disney Company (DIS) missed estimates for Q4 and is up over 2%. On the other hand, J.C. Penney Company Inc. (JCP) missed expectations for Q3 this morning, cut guidance and is down nearly 8% in pre-market. Futures were up slightly in early morning and inched lower throughout the morning and are near the lows as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mixed. China gained 0.78%, Hong Kong dropped 1.49% and Japan went up 0.18%. European markets are mostly down. The UK is down 1.17%, Germany is up 0.46% and France is down 0.54%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 1.97%, natural gas is down 2.55% and gold is down 0.50%. Unleaded gas is down 0.48% and heating oil is down 1.64%. Metals are mixed, gold and silver are down while copper and platinum are up. Meats are up. Cocoa, cotton, wheat and soybeans are up while coffee and corn are down.

US stocks slightly down in early trading, oil heads lower. Bonds plunge by $1 trillion this week.

The Walt Disney Company (DIS) missed Q4 forecasts yesterday afternoon with a profit of $1.10 per share and is up over 2% in pre-market. NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) crushed Q3 with more than 2x earnings, the biggest quarterly revenue growth in 6 years and guided is up and is up nearly 18% in pre-market. Nordstrom Inc. (JWN) reported Q3 and is up nearly 4% on an earnings beat and view raise.

J.C. Penney Company Inc. (JCP) reported Q3 results that missed expectations and cut guidance and is down nearly 8% in pre-market.

On Monday morning before the open, look out for earnings from Vuzix Corp (VUZI).

AAPL dipped into the shark tank yesterday, dropping 2.79% on huge volume. AAPL opened up at 111.07 to huge volume and quickly set an intra-day high of 111.09 on high volume before selling off on very strong volume to a stunning intra-day low of 105.83 at 10:40am. AAPL bounced back and recaptured the upper-107 area later in the morning on sustained moderate volume and pushed up above 108 into the mid-108 area in the afternoon on moderate volume before slipping back below 108 into the close on strong volume. AAPL ended the day down $3.09 at 107.79 and dropped 9 cents in after-hours to 107.70.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower in conjunction with Futures and dipped to a pre-market low of 106.27 at 4:47am before bouncing back to the low-107 area. AAPL is currently down 69 cents at 107.10 as we approach the open.
