Good Morning,

Welcome back! NASDAQ Futures are down 12 with -12 Fair Value, S&P Futures are down 1 with flat Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 34 on this first Monday since the election. The economic calendar is light today with a couple of Fed appearances this afternoon. The earnings calendar is light with Vuzix Corp (VUZI) reporting Q3 results with a loss of 32 cents per share and is down over 9.5% in pre-market. Upcoming earners are more plentiful though, with Home Depot, Inc. (HD) and Mobileye (MBLY) in the spotlight tomorrow morning. Futures were up strong in early morning and took a tumble after 6am, hitting a low 30 minutes later and bouncing back and are near the lows as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mixed. China went up 0.45%, Hong Kong dropped 1.37% and Japan gained 1.71%. European markets are up. The UK is up 0.21%, France is up 0.12% and Germany is leading the modest advance, up 0.32%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 1.70%, natural gas is up 2.79% and gold is up 0.01%. Unleaded gas is down 0.91% and heating oil is down 1.00%. Metals are down except copper. Meats are up. Cocoa, coffee, cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are all down.

Dollar soars as US yields spike, shares divided. Brent crude falls to 3-month low as Iran raises production. Dollar rises to 9-month high. Samsung to buy car tech firm Harman for $8 billion, South Korea's biggest overseas deal.

Vuzix Corp (VUZI) reported Q3 results with a loss of 32 cents per share and is down over 9.5% in pre-market.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Zoe's Kitchen (ZOES).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Aramark Services, Inc. (ARMK), Diebold Inc. (DBD), Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (TEVA), Home Depot, Inc. (HD), Mobileye (MBLY), TJX Companies Inc. (TJX), Stratasys, Inc. (SSYS), Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc. (DKS), Palatin Technologies, Inc (PTN) and Vodafone Group Plc (VOD) are expected to report.

AAPL had an interesting week, dropping just 0.38% on above average volume. On Monday, AAPL looped around 110, ending up 1.44% on slightly lower than average volume. On Election Day Tuesday, AAPL gained 0.59% on low volume above 111. On Wednesday, AAPL dropped sharply leaving our old friend 118 looking very far down the tracks but only ended down 0.16% on extremely heavy volume. On Thursday, AAPL dipped into the shark tank, scraping 106 and ultimately dropping 2.79% on huge volume. On OPEX Friday, AAPL gained 0.62% on a bit lower than average volume. AAPL opened down at 107 to high volume and quickly put in an intra-day low of 106.55 at 9:35am on high volume before bouncing back up to the green zone by 9:45am and generally remaining in positive territory for the rest of the day aside from another small dip before 10am. AAPL forged on from 108 to the upper-108 area through the morning and early afternoon on mild volume and set an intra-day high of 108.87 at 12:40pm on moderate volume before dipping back to 108 later in the afternoon on moderate volume and finally ending with a push up into mid-108 on moderate volume towards the close. AAPL ended the day up 64 cents at 108.43 and gained 9 cents in after-hours to 108.52.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher in conjunction with Futures and dipped below 108 to a pre-market low of 107.85 later in the morning as Futures faded. AAPL is currently down 58 cents at 107.85 as we approach the open.
