S&P Futures are down 2 with -4 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 7 with -8 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 4 as December ticks by, Italian bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena awaits a bailout or not, India surprised by leaving interest rates unchanged at 6.25%, the AT&T deal comes under scrutiny, Starbucks is holding an investors day and credit cards around the nation swipe feverishly.

The economic calendar has a healthy schedule this morning, including Mortgage Applications, US Job Creation Index, Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, EIA Petroleum Inventories and Consumer Credit this afternoon at 3pm.

The big earnings winner is Dave & Buster's Entertainment, Inc. (PLAY), up 12.5% in pre-market while the big earnings stinker is Vera Bradley (VRA), down over 18% in pre-market.

Asian markets ended up. China gained 0.71%, Hong Kong went up 0.55% and Japan led the advance, up 0.74%. European markets are also up. The UK is up 1.25%, France is up 0.76%, and Germany is leading the advance, up 1.28%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is down 0.67%, natural gas is up 2.15% and gold is up 0.46%. Unleaded gas is down 0.05% and heating oil is down 0.56%. Metals are up. Meats are mixed. Coffee is up while cocoa and cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

US stock Futures rise for 3rd day in a row. US mortgage rates rise to highest levels in over two years. India unexpectedly keeps rates unchanged even as cash crunch roils economy.

Dave & Buster's Entertainment, Inc. (PLAY) crushed Q3 forecasts yesterday afternoon with profit of 25 cents per share and is up 12.5% in pre-market.

On the other hand, Vera Bradley (VRA) announced Q3 results this morning missing expectations and lowered outlook and is down over 18% in pre-market.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST), H&R Block Inc. (HRB), United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI), Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Toro Company (TTC), Ciena Corporation (CIEN), Tailored Brands, Inc (TLRD), Sears Holdings Corporation (SHLD) are expected to report.

A leading bearish LULU swing trade strategy is: When the 20 SMA is Below the 22 EMA AND the 23 Day Stochastics is Bearish, daily bars.

AAPL ticked up 0.77% yesterday, up above 110, down to low-109 and then ran out the clock to just under 110 on low volume. AAPL opened up at 109.47 to high volume and shot up on moderate volume to set an intra-day high of 110.36 at 10am before slipping sharply back down to mid-109 on mild volume and continuing lower to set an intra-day low of 109.19 at 11:48am on mild volume. AAPL subsequently bounced back to the upper-109 zone during lunchtime and pushing further up into the close. AAPL ended the day up 84 cents at 109.95 and dropped 2 cents to 109.93 after-hours.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher above 110 and set a pre-market high of 110.26 at 05:34 before slipping sharply presumably on news of the Supreme Court's ruling in favor of Samsung in the ongoing high-profile design infringement case. Subsequently AAPL scraped a low of 108.83 before bouncing and stabilizing in the 109-area. AAPL is currently down 75 cents at 109.20 as we approach the open.


Classic max-pain is 110.
