S&P Futures are flat with +2 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 7 with +11 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 16 on this OPEX Friday capping off a record-setting week as the globe reacts to the ECB news of a QE bond buy scale back that will ultimately terminate in 2017 while politicians in South Korea have voted to impeach president Park Geun-hye over a corruption scandal.

In the economic department, Consumer Sentiment numbers hit the air at 10am along with Wholesale Trade, followed by Baker-Hughes Rig Count this afternoon.

The earnings winners are Broadcom Limited (AVGO), up over 6% and Finisar Corporation (FNSR), up nearly 8% while the big earnings stinker is Restoration Hardware (RH), down nearly 18%.

Asian markets ended mostly up. China went up 0.54%, Hong Kong went down 0.44% and Japan gained 1.23%. European markets are also up. The UK is up 0.18%, Germany is up 0.06%, and France is leading the advance, up 0.36%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 1.00%, natural gas is up 1.14% and gold is down 0.53%. Unleaded gas is up 0.81% and heating oil is up 0.68%. Metals are mixed, gold and platinum are down while silver and copper are up. Meats are mixed. Coffee, corn and soybeans are up while cocoa, cotton and wheat are down.

S&P, Nasdaq hit highs on gains in health, tech stocks. World stocks hold near 16-month highs after strong week. Euro drops for second day after dovish ECB meeting. Euro, yen fall as dollar momentum builds again.

Broadcom Limited (AVGO) reported a Q4 loss that beat expectations yesterday afternoon and is up over 6% in pre-market. Finisar Corporation (FNSR) announced Q2 results with adjusted earnings of 58 cents per share and is up nearly 8%. Restoration Hardware (RH) reported Q3 results with adjusted earnings of 20 cents per share but lowered full-year guidance and is down nearly 18%.

On Monday morning before the open, look out for earnings from Renren Inc (RENN).


AAPL floated higher yesterday, ending up 0.98% on low volume. AAPL opened at 110.78 to high volume and immediately set an intra-day low of 110.60 before rapidly floating up to 112 on relatively high volume. AAPL spent the rest of the day hovering in the low-112 area on low volume with a brief dip below 112 around 3pm and ended the day up $1.09 at 112.12. AAPL gained 18 cents in after-hours to 112.30.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower and scraped a pre-market low of 111.61 at 5:14am before bouncing back to 112 and then popping up as high as 112.60 later in the morning alongside bullish comments from Drexel Hamilton. AAPL is currently up 43 cents at 112.55 as we approach the open.
