Good Morning,

S&P Futures are down 2 with -2 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 1 with +1 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 2 as we hit mid-week. A President-elect press conference is scheduled for today. The US Senate will also hold a hearing today on the nomination of former ExxonMobil (XOM) CEO to be the next secretary of state. Merck (MRK) is up over 3% after announcing that the Food and Drug Administration is reviewing a license for its lung cancer treatment, Keytruda. Candy-bar maker Mars announced it's buying VCA, a pet health care business, in a multi-billion dollar deal.

This morning's earnings calendar includes MBA Mortgage Applications, Atlanta Fed's Business Inflation Expectations and EIA Petroleum Inventories followed by a speech from the Fed's Dudley this afternoon.

Futures were down in early morning and clawed back to positive territory before 5am, peaking at 7am only to slip to near-lows by 8am and are now near the lows as we approach the open.

The big earnings flop was SUPERVALU Inc. (SVU), down over 7% in pre-market.

Asian markets ended mostly up. China dropped 0.79%, Hong Kong gained 0.84% and Japan went up 0.33%. European markets are up. The UK is up 0.26%, France is up 0.01% and Germany is leading the advance, up 0.29%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.63%, natural gas is up 0.52% and gold is up 0.19%. Unleaded gas is up 1.46% and heating oil is up 0.78%. Metals are down except gold. Meats are up. Coffee and cotton are up while cocoa, corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

Global stocks and dollar firmer as PE news conference approaches. Bitcoin slides as China's central bank launches checks on exchanges.

SUPERVALU Inc. (SVU) reported Q3 results with adjusted earnings of 5 cents per share that missed expectations and is down over 7% in pre-market.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from KB Home (KBH).

Tomorrow morning before the open, FuelCell Energy, Inc. (FCEL), Delta Air Lines, Inc. (DAL), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. (TSM), Infosys Limited, Inc. (INFY) and Advanced Drainage Systems (WMS) are expected to report.

A leading bullish DAL trade strategy is: When the 13 SMA is Below the 15 SMA AND the 33 day Smoothed Stochastics is Bullish, daily bars.

AAPL set over the 119 horizon yesterday, ending up 10% on relatively low volume. AAPL opened at 118.77 to high volume and quickly dipped sharply to an intra-day low of 118.30 on strong volume before bouncing and turning green shortly after 11am on mild volume. AAPL continued on to set an intra-day high of 119.37 at 11:40am on moderate volume before slipping towards the low-119 area and dipping into the upper-118 area at 2pm on mild volume. AAPL bounced back to the low-119 area and ended the day up 12 cents at 119.11 and added 7 cents in after-hours to 119.18.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower in conjunction with Futures and scraped a pre-market low of 118.75 before bouncing back slightly. Buzz of Tesla (TSLA) hiring the creator of Apple's open-source pioneer indicating that Tesla is focusing on improving its Autopilot software. AAPL is currently down 25 cents at 118.86 as we approach the open.
