Good Morning,

S&P Futures are up 3 with -2 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 4 with +1 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 28 as this action-packed Thursday starts off on a cheerful note despite the Fed hinting that another rate hike may be a few weeks away. This earnings season is setting as Tesla Motors (TSLA) reports Q4 earnings with mixed results and while initially up has dipped to an over 2% loss in pre-market.

This morning's Economic Calendar in overdrive includes: Initial Jobless Claims, Chicago Fed National Activity Index, FHFA House Price Index, Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index, EIA Natural Gas Inventory, EIA Petroleum Inventories, Kansas City Fed Mfg Survey and Results of $28B, 7-Year Note Auction followed by Fed Balance Sheet and Money Supply this afternoon.

The earnings winners are: Square, Inc. (SQ), up over 10% and Pinnacle Foods (PF) is up nearly 7%. On the other hand ARRIS International plc (ARRS) is down over 12.5%, Jack In The Box Inc. (JACK) is down nearly 9%, Boston Beer Co. (SAM) is down nearly 7.5% and Wayfair (W) is down over 7.5%.

Futures were down slightly in early morning, turned green after 4am and pushed up to new highs later in the morning and are at the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended down. China dropped 0.30%, Japan went down 0.04% and Hong Kong led the decline, down 0.36%. European markets are mixed. The UK is up 0.02%, Germany is down 0.12% and France is up 0.17%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 1.77%, natural gas is up 3.55% and gold is up 1.22%. Unleaded gas is up 1.46% and heating oil is up 1.82%. Metals are up except copper. Meats are mixed. Cocoa, coffee, cotton and wheat are up while corn and soybeans are down.

Tesla Motors (TSLA) reported Q4 earnings yesterday afternoon with mixed results and is down over 2% in pre-market. HP Inc. (HPQ) announced Q1 results with adjusted earnings of 38 cents per share that beat expectations and is up over 2%. Fitbit, Inc. (FIT) reported a Q4 loss with an adjusted loss of 56 cents per share that missed expectations and is up over 2%. Square, Inc. (SQ) announced Q4 results that beat expectations and is up over 10%. The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated (CAKE) reported Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 67 cents per share that met expectations and is up 0.5% in pre-market. Sunoco LP (SUN) announced Q4 results that missed expectations and is down over 6%. ARRIS International plc (ARRS) reported Q4 results with an adjusted profit of 79 cents per share and is down over 12.5%. Jack In The Box Inc. (JACK) announced Q1 results that missed expectations and is down nearly 9%. Boston Beer Co. (SAM) is down nearly 7.5% after reporting a Q4 profit of $1.75 per share that missed expectations. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. (PLKI) is down slightly after announcing Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 48 cents per share. Transocean Ltd. (RIG) announced Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 63 cents per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 4%. Weibo Corporation (WB) reported Q4 earnings with mixed results and is down nearly 3.5%

Kohl's Corporation (KSS) reported Q4 results this morning that beat estimates and is up slightly in pre-market. Wayfair (W) reported a Q4 loss with adjusted losses of 34 cents per share that beat expectations and is down over 7.5%. Hormel Foods Corporation (HRL) is down over 5.5% after missing Q1 estimates with profit of 44 cents per share. Toro Company (TTC) announced Q1 results with net income of 41 cents per share that beat expectations and is up over 2%. Intercept Pharmaceuticals (ICPT) reported a Q4 loss of $4.84 per share that missed expectations and is down over 0.5%. Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) is up nearly 2.5% after reporting a Q4 loss with adjusted earnings of 7 cents per share that topped expectations. AMC Networks Inc. (AMCX) announced Q4 results with adjusted earnings of $1.30 per share and is up nearly 8%. Iron Mountain Inc. (IRM) reported Q4 results that beat expectations and is up nearly 1%. Pinnacle Foods (PF) is up nearly 7% after meeting Q4 profit forecasts with adjusted earnings of 79 cents per share. LendingTree, Inc. (TREE) reported Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 87 cents per share and is up nearly 3%. Barclays PLC (BCS) announced Q4 results and is down nearly 3.5%.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Acadia Healthcare Co. (ACHC), Nordstrom Inc. (JWN), IMAX Corporation (IMAX), Aspen Aerogels, Inc. (ASPN), Baidu, Inc. (BIDU), The Gap, Inc. (GPS), Herbalife Ltd. (HLF), Intuit Inc. (INTU), Universal Display Corporation (OLED), RE/MAX Holdings, Inc. (RMAX), Stamps.com Inc. (STMP), Zoe's Kitchen (ZOES) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Foot Locker, Inc. (FL), J.C. Penney Company Inc. (JCP), Materialise NV (MTLS) and The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (RBS) are expected to report.

AAPL's heartbeat pulsed up to 137 yesterday, ending up 0.27% on very light volume. AAPL opened at 136.43 to high volume and dipped to an intra-day low of 136.11 at 9:44am on moderate volume before bouncing back to the mid-136 area on low volume and holding a narrow range around 136.5 until lunchtime on low volume. After lunch, AAPL pulsed above 137 to set an intra-day high of 137.12 at 1:52pm on relatively low mild volume before slipping down to the mid-136 area again on low volume and bouncing back towards 137 in the last hour into the close on low volume. AAPL ended the day up 37 cents at 137.07 and gained 12 cents in after-hours to 137.19.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher in conjunction with Futures and held up in a narrow range in the low-107 area as HP Inc. (HPQ) announced a beat. AAPL is currently up 29 cents at 137.40 as we approach the open.
