Welcome to March! S&P Futures are up 17 with +17 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 34 with +34 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 158 as we kick off a new month with a "monumentus" boom amid a definitive end to the record Dow streak yesterday.

Get ready for another packed Economic Calendar this morning: Auto Sales, MBA Mortgage Applications, Personal Income and Outlays, Gallup U.S. Job Creation Index, PMI Manufacturing Index, ISM Manufacturing Index, Construction Spending and EIA Petroleum Inventories followed by Fed's Beige Book this afternoon and Fed's Reserve Gov. Lael Brainard speech this evening.

The earnings winners are: Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW), up nearly 16.5%, Tribune Media Company (TRCO), up over 10% and Lowe's Companies, Inc. (LOW) is up over 9.5%, On the other hand, Palo Alto Networks (PANW) is down nearly 20% and American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) is down nearly 5.5%.

Futures were up in early morning, kept moving up through the morning and are at highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended up. China gained 0.16%, Hong Kong went up 0.15% and Japan led the advance, up 1.44%. European markets are up strong. The UK is up 1.25%, Germany is up 1.56% and France is up 1.86%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.43%, natural gas is up 1.12% and gold is down 1.01%. Unleaded gas is down 0.73% and heating oil is up 0.62%. Metals are down except copper. Meats are mostly up. Cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are up while cocoa and coffee are down.

Etsy, Inc. (ETSY) reported a Q4 loss yesterday afternoon with adjusted earnings of 3 cents per share that beat expectations and is down over 3.5% in pre-market. Salesforce.com, Inc. (CRM) is up slightly after announcing a Q4 miss that missed expectations. Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CBI) reported Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 85 cents per share and is down over 1.5%. Palo Alto Networks (PANW) announced Q2 results that missed expectations and is down nearly 20%. Tesaro (TSRO) reported a Q4 loss of $2.60 per share and is up over 0.5%. Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW) announced Q4 results that beat expectations and is up nearly 16.5%. ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ACAD) reported Q4 results and is down nearly 0.5%. Ross Stores, Inc. (ROST) announced Q4 results that beat estimates and is down nearly 0.5%. Ambarella (AMBA) reported Q4 results with earnings of 54 cents per share and a soft outlook and is up nearly 0.5%

Office Depot Inc. (ODP) reported Q4 results this morning with earnings of 15 cents per share that beat expectations and is up over 4% in pre-market. Lowe's Companies, Inc. (LOW) announced Q4 results that beat expectations and is up over 9.5%. Best Buy Co. (BBY) is down over 2.5% after reporting Q4 results that missed expectations. Tribune Media Company (TRCO) announced Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 85 cents per share that missed expectations and is up over 10%. Dollar Tree, Inc. (DLTR) reported Q4 results with adjusted earnings of $1.39 per share that beat expectations and is up over 3.5%. American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) announced Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 39 cents per share that beat expectations and is down nearly 5.5%.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Monster Beverage Corp. (MNST), Progressive Corporation (PGR), Broadcom Limited (AVGO), Planet Fitness (PLNT), Shake Shack (SHAK) and Box (BOX).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (BUD), Noodles & Company (NDLS), Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF), Barnes & Noble Inc (BKS), Burlington Stores, Inc (BURL) and Kroger Co. (KR) are expected to report.

A leading Bullish AVGO trade strategy is: When the 15 SMA is Below the 40 EMA AND the 13 day Smoothed Stochastics is Bullish, daily bars.

AAPL had a slightly green day, edging up 0.05% on low volume. AAPL opened up at 137.08 to high volume and initially popped up to the mid-137 area at 9:38 on strong volume before dipping sharply below 137 on mild volume 15 minutes later. AAPL then bounced sharply and set an intra-day high of 137.43 on moderate volume at 10:32am before slipping towards low-137 on low volume 45 minutes later. AAPL made another attempt at mid-137 before lunch and then slipped sharply to the upper-136 area on low volume during lunch on very low volume and then bounced back again to the low-137 area in early afternoon on very light volume. After 2pm AAPL slipped to 137 on low volume and then dipped to an intra-day low of 136.70 at 3:44pm on moderate volume before popping back to 137 into the close on moderate volume. AAPL ended the day up 7 cents at 137 and gained 5 cents in after-hours to 137.05.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher, gravitated towards 138 as BTIG maintained AAPL as a Buy with a target of $165 and set a pre-market high of 138 ahead of the bell. AAPL is currently up 95 cents at 137.94 as we approach the open.
