Good Morning,

S&P Futures are up 5 with +5 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 12 with +15 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 16 on this Tuesday as Futures are pointing to a cheerful open. Eyes are on travel stocks today as new US rules go into effect that require passengers from several countries to check in devices larger than smartphones. Techwise, Bitcoin prices have recovered from below 950 and are nearing 1,100 this morning as Apple shares hit a new high on hardware rumors.

This morning's Economic Calendar includes: Current Account and Redbook Chain Store Sales followed by Fed's George speech and Fed's Mester speech this afternoon.

The earnings winners are: Francesca's Holdings Corp. (FRAN), up nearly 11.5% and Cheetah Mobile, up over 1%. On the other hand, General Mills, Inc. (GIS) is down nearly 2%, Lands' End, Inc. (LE) is down nearly 0.5% and Lennar Corporation (LEN) is down nearly 0.5%.

Futures were up in early morning, peaked just before 4am and are off the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mostly up. China went up 0.33%, Hong Kong gained 0.37% and Japan went down 0.34%. European markets are mostly up. The UK is down 0.23%, France is up 0.20% and Germany is up 0.51%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.27%, natural gas is up 1.35% and gold is down 0.08%. Unleaded gas is up 0.45% and heating oil is up 0.52%. Metals are are down except silver. Meats are up. Cocoa is up while coffee, cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

Stocks turn negative as bank stocks weigh. UK inflation rate leaps to 2.3%. Oil advances on talk of extension to OPEC cuts, inventories weigh.

Cheetah Mobile Inc. (CMCM) reported Q4 results this morning that beat expectations and is up over 1% in pre-market. Lands' End, Inc. (LE) announced Q4 results with adjusted earnings of 41 cents per share and is down nearly 0.5%. Francesca's Holdings Corp. (FRAN) is up nearly 11.5% after reporting Q4 results with a profit of 39 cents per share that beat expectations. General Mills, Inc. (GIS) reported Q3 with adjusted earnings of 72 cents per share that met expectations and is down nearly 2%. Lennar Corporation (LEN) announced Q1 results with adjusted earnings of 59 cents per share that beat expectations and is down nearly 0.5%.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from FedEx Corporation (FDX) and Nike Inc. (NKE).

Tomorrow before the open, Winnebago Industries, Inc. (WGO) and Perry Ellis International Inc. (PERY) are expected to report.

A leading Bullish NKE swing trade strategy is: When the 18 SMA is Above the 38 SMA AND the 20 EMA is Below the 59 DEMA, daily bars.

AAPL bears were quietly stepping onto the ice yesterday as AAPL gained 1.05% on lower than average volume. AAPL opened up at 140.40 to high volume and immediately set an intra-day low of 140.23 on high volume before bouncing back to the low to mid-141 area by 10:30am on moderate volume. AAPL wallowed around this area towards 141 on low volume until 3pm and then suddenly popped towards mid-141 on moderate volume into the close, setting an intra-day high of 141.50 on strong volume. AAPL ended the day up $1.47 at 141.46 and gained 9 cents after-hours to 141.55.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher in conjunction with Futures and on buzz of the release of a new iPad and red iPhone, reaching a pre-market high of 142.20. AAPL is currently up 66 cents at 142.12 as we approach the open.
