Good Morning,

S&P Futures are down 9 with -8 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 24 with -24 Fair Value and Dow Futures are down 59 as April sees a dark start amid the explosion at the St. Petersburg subway, weak US car data and economic and trade tension. Techwise, Verizon wrangles Yahoo and AOL into a new company named "Oath" and Bitcoin broke above 1160 earlier this morning and is currently down a few points off the highs.

This morning's Economic Calendar includes: International Trade, Gallup US ECI, Redbook Chain Store Sales and Factory Orders.

Futures were down in early morning and then slipped to lows after 8am and are off the lows as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended down. China and Hong Kong were closed for Ching Ming Festival, Japan dropped 0.91%. European markets are mixed. The UK is up 0.44%, Germany is down 0.11% and France is down 0.07%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.40%, natural gas is up 0.74% and gold is up 0.65%. Unleaded gas is up 0.35% and heating oil is up 0.79%. Metals are up. Meats are down. Corn, wheat and soybeans are up while cocoa, coffee and cotton are down.

Banks, tech stocks lead market lower. US trade deficit narrowed to 4-month low in February.

NovaGold Resources, Inc (NG) reported Q1 results yesterday afternoon with a loss of 3 cents per share and is up nearly 1% in pre-market.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Hudson's Bay Co (HBAYF).

Tomorrow morning before the open, The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (GBX), Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) and Monsanto Company (MON) are expected to report.

A leading Bearish MON trade strategy is: When the 3 DEMA is Above the 7 EMA AND the 7 Day Smoothed Stochastics is Bullish, daily bars.

AAPL floated on the mid-143 line yesterday, ending up 0.03% on low volume. AAPL opened up at 143.71 to high volume and quickly set an intra-day high of 144.12 at 9:44am on moderate volume before slipping to an intra-day low of 143.05 at 12:08pm on moderate volume. AAPL bounced back into the mid-143 area and held a narrow range into the afternoon before extending into the upper-143 area after 2:30pm on low volume and settling into the close. AAPL ended the day up 4 cents at 143.70 and dropped 4 cents in after-hours to 143.63.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower in conjunction with Futures and scraped a pre-market low of 143.20 despite an Upgrade from Vetr Inc. to Buy along with a 150.17 target. AAPL is currently down 38 cents at 143.32 as we approach the open.
