Good Morning,

S&P Futures are up 4 with +4 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are down 2 with flat Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 53 as we hit the middle of the first week in April and North Korea fires another ballistic missile test. Panera Bread (PNRA) is up nearly 13.5% in pre-market after JAB has agreed to acquire the company for $315 per share in cash, valuing the deal at approximately $7.5 billion, while Bitcoin is trading in the mid-1100 zone again.

This morning's Economic Calendar includes: MBA Mortgage Applications, ADP Jobs Report, Gallup U.S. Job Creation Index, PMI Services Index, ISM Non-Manufacturing Index and EIA Petroleum Inventories followed by FOMC minutes this afternoon.

The earnings winner is: The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (GBX), up over 11.5%.

Futures were down in early morning and recovered sharply later in the morning and are near the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended up. Hong Kong gained 0.57%, Japan went up 0.27% and China led the advance, up 1.48%. European markets are mixed. The UK is up 0.25%, Germany is down 0.31% and France is up 0.18%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 1.21%, natural gas is down 0.55% and gold is down 0.57%. Unleaded gas is up 0.66% and heating oil is up 1.24%. Metals are mixed, gold and silver are down while platinum and copper are up. Meats are down. Coffee, corn, wheat and soybeans are up while cocoa and cotton are down.

ADP says US companies added 263,000 employees in March. US factories expand again in March, but at a slower pace.

The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (GBX) reported Q2 results with profit of $1.09 per share that beat expectations and is up over 11.5% in pre-market. Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (WBA) announced Q2 results that missed expectations and is down over 0.5%. Monsanto Company (MON) reported Q2 results with adjusted earnings of $3.19 per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 1.5%.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (BBBY).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Constellation Brands, Inc. (STZ) and CarMax Group (KMX) are expected to report.

AAPL branched up to the upper-144 area, ending up0.74% on low volume. AAPL opened at 143.25 to high volume and immediately set an intra-day low of 143.17 on high volume. Later in the morning AAPL went up past 144 on low volume and then held the mid-144 zone early afternoon on low volume before continuing on to the upper-144 area and setting an intra-day high of 144.89 at 2:34pm on moderate volume. AAPL dipped towards mid-144 on low volume before bouncing back to the upper-144 area into the close on moderate volume. AAPL ended the day up $1.07 at 144.77 and gained 10 more cents in after-hours to 144.87.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower in conjunction with Futures and dipped sharply to a pre-market low of 143.26 on reports that iPhone 8 may be delayed. AAPL is currently down 60 cents at 144.17 as we approach the open.

Classic max-pain is 142.
