Good Morning,

Welcome back. S&P Futures are up 28 with +30 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 61 with +63 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 219 on this Monday after the first round French presidential vote runoff. The deciding vote is scheduled for May 7th. Techwise, Uber was almost kicked off Apple's App Store and Bitcoin is in the 1,245-area after peaking above 1,250 earlier.

This morning's Economic Calendar includes: Chicago Fed National Activity Index, Dallas Fed Manufacturing Survey and Fed's Kashkari speech.

Futures were up strong in early morning after the preliminary French election results, kept going up and are near the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended mostly up. China dropped 1.37%, Hong Kong went up 0.41% and Japan gained 1.37%. European markets are up strong. The UK is up 1.89%, Germany is up 3.13% and France is leading the advance, up 4.54%.

Commodities are mixed this morning. Oil is up 0.58%, natural gas is down 0.77% and gold is down 1.53%. Unleaded gas is up 0.13% and heating oil is up 0.53%. Metals are down except copper. Meats are mixed. Coffee, corn, wheat and soybeans are up while cocoa and cotton are down.

This afternoon after the bell, look out for earnings from Limelight Networks, Inc. (LLNW), Express Scripts, Inc. (ESRX), T-Mobile US, Inc. (TMUS), Alcoa, Inc. (AA), Rambus, Inc. (RMBS), Swift Transportation Company (SWFT), Whirlpool Corporation (WHR) and Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (AMP).

Tomorrow morning before the open, Volvo AB ADR B (VOLVY), Centene Corporation (CNC), The Coca-Cola Company (KO), Capella Education Company (CPLA), Nielsen Holdings N.V. (NLSN), Tupperware Brands Corporation (TUP), Biogen Inc. (BIIB), LM Ericsson Telephone Company (ERIC), Novartis AG (NVS), Caterpillar Inc. (CAT), McDonald's Corporation (MCD), Xerox Corporation (XRX), E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont) (DD), Corning Inc. (GLW), JetBlue Airways Corporation (JBLU), Lockheed Martin (LMT), 3M Company (MMM), SUPERVALU Inc. (SVU) and Valero Energy Corporation (VLO) are expected to report.

AAPL had a good week, ending up 0.86% on low volume. On Monday, AAPL had a wild card day in the 141-area, ending up 0.53% on very low volume. On Tuesday,AAPL dipped into murky waters in the low-141 area, ending down 0.44% on low volume. On Wednesday, AAPL jumped up out of the 141 fish bowl to nearly 142, and then flopped onto the 140 floor, ending down 0.37% on low volume. On Thursday, AAPL tipped the scales to green and swung into the upper-143 area, ending up 1.25% on low volume.

On Friday, the OPEX arrow struck AAPL below 141, ending the day down 0.13% on very low volume. AAPL opened at 142.44 to high volume and quickly slipped to the low-142 area on moderate volume. AAPL bounced back to the mid-142 area and set an intra-day high of 142.68 at 11:46am on low volume before dropping through lunchtime. AAPL continued to sink in the afternoon and scraped an intra-day low of 141.85 at 3:12pm on low volume before bouncing back in the last 30 minutes on moderate volume. AAPL ended the day down 18 cents at 142.26 and lost 2 cents in after-hours to 142.24.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher in conjunction with Futures and hit a pre-market high of 144.23 and has been drifting lower since. AAPL is currently up $1.19 at 143.46 as we approach the open.

Classic max-pain is 140.
