S&P Futures are up 8 with +7 Fair Value, NASDAQ Futures are up 18 with +16 Fair Value and Dow Futures are up 153 as this earnings season really heats up alongside an action-packed day on the economic calendar. Techwise, rumors are buzzing that Apple will release 2 iPhones this year instead of the expected 3 and Bitcoin prices just soared above 1,260.

This morning's Economic Calendar includes: Redbook Chain Store Sales, FHFA House Price Index, S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index, Consumer Confidence, New Home Sales, Richmond Fed Mfg. and State Street Investor Confidence Index followed by Results of $26B, 2-Year Note Auction this afternoon.

The earnings winner is: Limelight Networks, Inc. (LLNW), up nearly 11%. On the other hand, Express Scripts, Inc. (ESRX) is down over 13%.

Futures were up in early morning, moved up sharply later in the morning and are near the highs as we approach the open.

Asian markets ended up. China went up 0.16%, Japan gained 1.08% and Hong Kong led the advance, up 1.31%. European markets are up. The UK is up 0.23%, Germany is up 0.11% and France is leading the advance, up 0.33%.

Commodities are mostly down this morning. Oil is down 0.30%, natural gas is down 0.10% and gold is down 0.68%. Unleaded gas is down 0.76% and heating oil is down 0.25%. Metals are down except copper. Meats are mixed. Coffee is up while cocoa, cotton, corn, wheat and soybeans are down.

Nasdaq tops 6,000 mark for 1st time. US home prices rise faster than expected in February.

Limelight Networks, Inc. (LLNW) reported a Q1 loss yesterday afternoon with adjusted earnings of 2 cents per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 11% in pre-market. Express Scripts, Inc. (ESRX) announced Q1 results and is down over 13% after losing biggest client Anthem. T-Mobile US, Inc. (TMUS) reported Q1 results that beat expectations amid light revenue and is down nearly 1%. Alcoa, Inc. (AA) announced Q1 results with adjusted earnings of 63 cents per share that beat expectations and is up over 4%. Swift Transportation Company (SWFT) reported Q1 results with adjusted earnings of 7 cents per share that missed expectations and is down nearly 7%. Whirlpool Corporation (WHR) announced Q1 results with adjusted earnings of $2.50 per share that missed expectations and is up over 1%.

Centene Corporation (CNC) reported Q1 results this morning with adjusted earnings of $1.12 per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 3% in pre-market. The Coca-Cola Company (KO) announced Q1 results that missed expectations and is down over 1%. Nielsen Holdings N.V. (NLSN) reported Q1 results with profit of 20 cents per share that missed expectations and is down over 2%. Biogen Inc. (BIIB) announced Q1 results with earnings of $5.20 per share that beat expectations and is up over 4.5%. LM Ericsson Telephone Company (ERIC) reported Q1 results that missed expectations and is down nearly 2.5%. Novartis AG (NVS) announced Q1 results with adjusted earnings of $1.13 per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 2.5%. Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) reported Q1 results that beat expectations and is up over 6%. McDonald's Corporation (MCD) announced Q1 results that beat expectations and is up nearly 3%. Xerox Corporation (XRX) reported Q1 results with adjusted earnings of 15 cents per share that missed expectations and is down nearly 2%. E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont) (DD) announced Q1 results that beat expectations and is up nearly 2%. Corning Inc. (GLW) reported Q1 results with adjusted earnings of with adjusted earnings of 39 cents per share that beat expectations and is up nearly 2.5%. JetBlue Airways Corporation (JBLU) announced Q1 results that met expectations and is up over 3%. Lockheed Martin (LMT) reported Q1 results with adjusted earnings of $3 per share that beat expectations and is down 2.5%. 3M Company (MMM) announced Q1 results with net income of $2.16 per share that beat expectations and is down nearly 0.5%. AAPL soared up like a rocket towards 144, ending up 0.95% on low volume. AAPL opened up at 143.50 to high volume and quickly set an intra-day low of 143.20 at 9:36am on heavy volume. AAPL bounced back sharply and set an intra-day high just shy of 144 at 143.95 at 9:50am on solid volume. AAPL subsequently dipped to the mid-143 area ahead of lunch on low volume and bounced back into the upper-143 area in the afternoon on low volume, slipping towards mid-143 into the close on moderate volume. AAPL ended the day up $1.35 at 143.62 and gained 16 more cents in after-hours to 143.78.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened higher in conjunction with Futures and hit a pre-market high of 144.22 as Needham & Company maintained AAPL coverage with a Buy and $165 target. AAPL is currently up 31 cents at 143.95 as we approach the open.
