Apple Today - 08/05/2015 (AAPL)

seymour_greenz • August 5th 2015 09:26:53 AM

Good Morning,

NASDAQ Futures are up 38 with +30 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 85. Futures have been steadily recovering from flat all morning. DIS reported well last night but TV risks trigger a nearly 9% selloff. PCLN reported this morning and is up nearly 8%, on the other hand SODA also reported and is down nearly 6%. TSLA and FIT report after the bell this afternoon. ADP reports the US private sector adds 185,000 jobs in July.

Yesterday, AAPL tanked again in yet another extremely painful session on no real rews, although there is some speculation that the China bubble is putting pressure on AAPL. AAPL opened lower and sold off immediately hitting a staggering low of 113.37 at 10:54am, recovering a bit to the mid-115s and then retreating back to the mid-114s. Later in the afternoon at 3:02pm, AAPL regained as high as 115.76 before selling back down to end the intra-day session at 114.64.

This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened lower, immediately clinging to the 114 line, before a 400 share trade at 6am up to 114.44, then immediately crashing down hard to a stunning low of 112.8 at 6:20am. Over the next hour and a half, AAPL filled in the hole, slowly returning to 114 and achieving 114.11 at 7:42am coinciding with the recovery in Futures. With complete disregard to Futures, AAPL has again slipped down to the mid-133s and AAPL is currently down a boggling 1.46 to 113.14.

Classic max-pain is 119, 3 points below yesterday, no easy feat. Tomorrow is AAPL's ex-div day, today is the last day to quality for the dividend.
