Apple Today - 09/09/2015 Event (AAPL)

Good Morning,
Today is Apple's big day. NASDAQ Futures are up again, 52 points this time with +48 Fair Value, Dow Futures are up 180. Japan rallied almost 8% and global markets are up. Speculation that the Fed will hold off raising rates could be another factor in the optimism. European markets are on the rise, by nearly 2%, while indexes in Asia closed up with impressive gains. Yahoo (YHOO) dropped after-hours after announcing that the IRS rejected their tax-free spinoff plan. Also, in a strange twist, Quiksilver (ZQK) surprise announced bankruptcy yesterday just a day before earnings were scheduled for this afternoon, the stock instantly fell from 46 cents to single digit pennies on high volume in after-hours and is currently down over 80% in pre-market. TIVO reported yesterday, met expectations and is basically flat. Barnes & Noble (BKS) reports this morning and is currently flat to up.
Yesterday, AAPL gapped up nicely from the 109-area into 112 and held most of the day, with just an afternoon dip to 110.32 on moderately high volume before bouncing back on high volume to close the intra-day session near the mid-112 high at 112.31. After-hours continued to rise in after-hours, up nearly another 30 cents.
This morning in pre-market, AAPL opened up higher alongside Futures at 113.93 at 4:02am on low volume and hovered around 114 before easing to 113.35 at 6:54am on relatively low volume before beginning an ascent back towards 114 on higher volume, peaking again at 113.89 at 8:08am on extremely high volume. AAPL is currently up 1.23 at 113.54.
